I love Spring and my favorite part is the flowers! I think there is nothing more inviting in a home then spring flowers. It gives just a light airy and happy feel to any room. I recently purchased a ton of flowers to decorate throughout the house and I wanted to share them today.
First up are the cream mums and Lamb’s Ear Stem for my ginger jar. I was very happy with the way it turned out. This is my husband’s favorite area in our home. It holds his collection of decanters. He actually has more then pictured but unfortunately the mother of pearl tray could not hold any more.. I got this beautiful mirror for mother’s day a few years ago. The classic design and clean lines means this mirror will be in our home years from now. The Chippendale chair was a great, twenty-five dollar find at an estate sale. My husband cleaned it up, painted it and added a new seat since the original was beyond repair. We actually change the fabric on this chair often! My husband designed the seat bottom so it is easy for me to remove and staple on a new fabric. I am so thankful everyday for my super handy husband who always makes time for my projects.

In my Kitchen I decided to add some peonies stems with the white mums. I find it best to overfill the vases or jars when arranging flowers because I think it creates a more vibrant effect. Can you tell how much I like Ginger Jars? I have a great mix of jars all in different price ranges and no one can ever distinguish the more expensive versions from the more affordable Home Good finds! I adore this Capri Blue candle too but my husband prefers some of my other scents.

Hydrangeas are my favorite flower to decorate with as you may be able to tell. I started with hydrangeas originally because I found them so easy to arrange. Now I just love how full and bright they look. They make our home feel bright and sunshiny even when the weather outside is dark and gloomy. I love mixing in a little pop of color with the white hydrangeas to really draw your eye to the arrangement.

I have a new obsession with berry bowls. My sister-in-law introduced them to me and ever since I have been on the hunt for the perfect one! My mom and I came across both of these on a shopping trip. We could not decide which one we liked best so we just got both of them. I am probably going to give my twin sister one of them since she too loves berry bowls. It will be a nice little happy for her.

I hope these shots will inspire you to add a little sunshine into your Home! I added images below of all the flowers, vases and bowls I used for my Spring Home Refresh so click on the image to be taken directly to the websites.
