Our family uses throw blankets so often that I have them draped all over our home and even outside. My children only care if they are soft and comfy which is the most important aspect but I prefer they be functional and pretty! I switch out my throw blankets for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter since we would burn up with a winter fur blanket for summer.
My reading nook in our bedroom, which is pictured above is my favorite spot in my home. I am an avid reader so having a cozy spot to enjoy my mysteries and have a cup of coffee or tea is a top priority for me. I added in a throw pillow and this beautiful pink gauze blanket to make it more comfortable and cozy. My kids and husband can often be found in “Mommy’s Spot” enjoying my happy place.
