Accessorizing your home can make such an impact!

My sister just got a new dresser in her bedroom and she had not styled it at all. She said it made the room feel empty so we went shopping! We wanted to keep the budget down so we went to Target and Home Goods for all our purchases. Below I have included a before picture so you can get the “empty” feel for the space.

My sister had only one request for how I styled the dresser. She knew she wanted to have a group of pictures that could be leaning and overlapping to give the dresser a layered look. She already had a sweet framed picture of my dad and grandmother. Also last year I bought her this tree sketch from Target. So we added two more prints from Home Goods. I always love a nude for the bedroom and this one was perfect for only $30. I also got the small floral print from Home Goods for only $10.

My sister loves Joanna Gaines so we picked up two of her books from Target to add some more layers to the space. I then got this cute rattan box and vase from the Studio McGee collection at Target. To finish the chest off I cut some stems from her yard to keep the price down. Now that the dresser is styled the room feels complete and cozy.

Happy Styling!
