Garden Moon Door

My incredibly talented husband built me an incredible Garden Moon Door! We have a beautiful brick archway and gate so we planted some ivy at the bottom a few years ago. It has completely taken over and has grown all over the house and the fence. I absolutely love it though. It does take a lot of my husbands time in the summer but I think he enjoys getting out in the yard. We do have a lawn service but my husband would never trust his ivy or Jasmine to anyone else. We debated for a while on what kind of gate to put up but went with the Moon Door. I think it really draws attention to the gorgeous arch shape! We also went with this gate because our dog loves to peep out of it and check out what is going on in the neighborhood. It did not take my husband any time to build the gate but the door jamb was another story. We did lots of measuring and remeasuring before it was just right. We went with Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black paint to match the shutters and door of our house. Then I added these Outdoor Lanterns with solar candles which look great at night!
