WALNUT COOKIES

These are such simple and easy cookies but they are surprisingly so delicious! Below is the recipe I use which I created after trying out several different recipes.

INGREDIENTS:

1 STICK OF BUTTER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR (LIGHT OR DARK)

1/3 CUP OF MAPLE SYRUP

1/2 TEASPOON SALT

1/4 CUP WALNUTS (I use whole but chopped is fine)

2 TABLESPOONS OF MILK

COMBINE ALL OF THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN A FOOD PROCESSOR AND PULSE UNTIL A BALL IS FORMED. IF THE DOUGH IS TOO DRY AND IS NOT FORMING A BALL THEN ADD ANOTHER TABLESPOON OF MILK. ONCE YOUR BALL HAS FORMED, ROLL THE DOUGH OUT ON A FLOURED SURFACE AND USE THE COOKIE CUTTER OF YOUR CHOICE. BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES IN A 350 DEGREE OVEN OR UNTIL THE COOKIE EDGES ARE LIGHT BROWN. ALLOW TO COOL FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING FROM THE PAN.

This really is the easiest recipe. I hope you and your family give it a try.
